Named for: Edward Morse Shepard (Class of 1869)

Edward M. Shepard was instrumental in obtaining the St. Nicholas Heights site for the College. He also conceived the idea of the Great Hall, the building’s outstanding feature. The rear of the plate is labeled “The Great Tower. ”
