Wingate Gymnasium
Named for: George W. Wingate (Class of 1858)

General Wingate was a leader in establishing the Public Schools Athletic League. Of the five original Collegiate Gothic buildings, only Wingate is still serving its original function. The rear of the plate is simply labeled “The Gymnasium. ”
